Liz Borders

President and Chair of the Curatorial Committee

Liz is a founding member of the Broad Strokes Project. She sees public art as a celebration of community—an open invitation for everyone to enjoy the city. She loves the contrast of historic buildings with contemporary murals, finding joy in how bold colors and striking linework brighten gray Lower Columbia days.

With deep connections to contemporary artists and curators, Liz sources diverse talent for Broad Strokes’ projects from both regional and national levels.

Beyond Broad Strokes, Liz is a Realtor in Oregon and SW Washington, chair of Longview’s Downtown Advisory Committee, and President-Elect of the Lower Columbia Association of Realtors. Originally from Kentucky, she’s called the Pacific Northwest home for over a decade and holds a master’s in Sociology from Portland State University.
