You ever wonder what happens to the kids who are told they can’t do art or music when they grow up? They play with letters and numbers instead like me. I loved everything art related when I was little, music, drawing, painting, all of it, but unfortunately there was always an adult that stood in my way and said it was a waste of time, or I wasn’t good enough.

Now I work in the financial field reading contracts and regulatory documents. It’s solid work but I had a piece of me missing and that’s why I joined TBSP.

Here I can use my professional skills to write grant applications, plus I can get out and put paint on walls, tap into the community and meet new people, and explore my creative soul. I’ve even started making art of my own again.
